Joe Midgley is a horseman devoted to teaching both human and horse to develop a partnership that will allow them to achieve their greatest aspirations.
Joe trains through a physical and psychological understanding, meaning that he believes the emotions, or mental welfare of the horse is vital in creating that partnership and trust. This means no abuse, no beatings, no strapping down heads - just pure horsemanship.
Trec Lincolnshire is an active TREC focused club affiliated to TREC GB. We run training and competitions throughout Lincolnshire. With an emphasis on horsemanship rather than horse power, TREC offers riders an interesting but relatively safe competitive challenge.
Natural Horses is run by myself, Kerry Brighty. I have been involved in the equine industry in some way or another for the past 25 years. I started my education on an eventing and hunting yard through which I dealt with many different types of horse and quickly became fascinated by their many and varied horseanalitys. After many years of working with, owning and compeating my own horses I attended Lincoln University where I gained a BSc (Honours) degree in Equine Sports Science. I then when on to train with Kelly Marks, founder of Intelligent Horsemanship (Monty Roberts) and also study and train using Parelli Natural horsemanship.
Teaming this with my love of Dressage, I went on to study both the Classical and Modern masters to develop groundwork and ridden training to be able to provide exercise proscriptions to enhance and develop the horse through the scales of training
I have been very lucky over the years to train with people whom I consider to be amongst the best in the world, including trainers from the Cadre Noir and Spanish Riding School, and have learned a simple, logical approach to dressage training for horse and rider. I have trained my horse from first backing to competing successfully at Grand Prix, and I love to work with horses and riders at any level
